First Post! Introduction and Contests

 Hey! First post on Write Your Life! Anyways, there will be many events and such happening here and in the forums. I hope many authors and poets participate, because the winning story will be put as a special 'Featured Story of the Month' and 'Featured Poem of the Month'! The winners will have some sort of prize that I'll think about and their story or poem will be put in the 'Featured' page.

On the 27th of every month, competitors can enter their stories and poems in the forums. A poll will then be put up at midnight (the first minute of the 28th), and the voting begins! The one with the most votes at the end of the month will be put on the 'Featured' page and might have access to some things for the month.

After the monthly stories and poems begin to get old and aren't the new featured anymore, the person who wrote them will have their name put in the 'Wall of Fame' page. Those winner can enter again, and their names can also be put on the Wall again. But they CANNOT enter again for two months. After that, they can enter again, then they can't for two months again; the cycle won't end. Until I say so.

Contest rules will change sometimes, so don't be alarmed. Please participate! Even if you don't win, try, try again and maybe you will! But all of you are talented winners, so don't feel down!


Now, let the writing begin! This is only the introduction for you guys, so you don't have to make it a personal issue. Remember the rules; don't break them. And remember this is for poets and their poems!
